The final conference joined together project participants as well as municipalities, participating companies and young researcher and students. In the conference participants exchanged their challenges regarding fiberglass product manufacturing waste recycling and treatment as well as glass fiber waste treating and likelihood to be reintroduced into manufacturing processes and used as raw production material. Participants shared their great practices from their experience of overcoming glass fiber industries challenges as well as insights from the municipalities how they are acting on related issues and encouraging manufacturers and consumers to act glass fiber waste reduction and reintroduction to production processes. Students and young scientists shared their views on the usability of glass fiber manufacturing waste and ways that it could be used for different product production, such as for the product for marine application. The project was done within the Interreg Baltic Sea Region call co-funded by the European Union.
