Abstract

The relative moisture content is an important characterizing parameter of biomass, if increasing moisture content, the calorific value decreasing. As well as the relative moisture content of food affects the growth of microorganisms.

Description of the technology

The relative moisture content is determined by using Precisa EM120-HR Moisture Analyser. The temperature range of moisture analyser is from 30 to 230 °C with heating rate of 1 °C/min. The maximum weight of test sample is 124 g. The relative moisture content of test sample is determined at 105 °C.

Applications Our testing services are useful for fields linked to alternative energy sources, especially in characterization of biomass. As well as sectors of food, environment and material science.
