Title Reinforced Concrete Conical Screw-Pile
Abstract

The field of use these invention is construction of the cast-in-situ pile basement in weak soils. A proposed screw pile has a conical shape with a thread on the surface. The screw pile in the soil a steel conical mould with an external rectangular, triangular, or step-like thread is used for formation. At inside of the mould the axial and radial channels for the concrete mix pumping with one-direction outflow valves are fitted. For making the pile, the said mould is screwed in the soil till decided depth. After this, the mould is screwed out of the soil. Simultaneously in the opened grope between the soil and mould surface and in the imprint of the threads in the compacted soil, the concrete mix is pumped in until the upper surface level of the borehole. Than the reinforcement is inserted in the fresh mix and after the hardening of the concrete in the conical compacted soil matrix, the conical screw pile is ready to carry structural load. One conical mould fitted at the boring machine could be used repeatability for casting an unlimited amount of the said conical concrete screw piles.

Description of the technology

For making the pile, the said mould is screwed in the soil till decided depth. After this, the mould is screwed out of the soil. Applications Reinforced concrete conical screw-piles have widespread application in the construction industry. Such screw-piles can be used to take large concentrated loads and for pile foundations in weak soils. Numerous cast-in-situ piles can be formed using one conical formwork.
