The invention relates to powder metallurgy, in particular to methods and equipment for impregnation of sintered products with nanoparticles. The invention allows to obtain an increased amount of impregnation suspension, as well as to impregnate a larger number of articles at the same time and to increase the quality of impregnation. A device that contains a water and air impermeable impregnation chamber (4), a container (5) for products (6), an oil tank (1) and a vacuum pump (7) is provided. Said device further comprises a mixer-dispersant (3) connected to the oil reservoir via a valve and piping system, two suction pipes and one pressure pipe. The pressure pipe of the mixer-dispenser (3) is connected to the impregnation chamber (4), while an exhaust pipe of the vacuum pump (7) is connected to a suspension tank. There is an oil filter (16) installed between the impermeable chamber (4) and the suspension tank.A method of impregnating sintered products by use of said device is also provided. According to said method impregnation suspension is subjected to cavitation in a mixer-dispenser (3) until a homogeneous state is reached by use of double circulation after which the suspension is passed to a water and air impermeable impregnation chamber (4), where the products (6) are pre-deposited, and maintained in there between 20 and 30 minutes, the air and oil vapour is pumped out of the impregnation chamber (4) and passed to an oil reservoir to prepare the suspension. During the impregnation process, pressure in the impregnation chamber (4) can be increased up to 2 bar.The invention can be used in the production of ceramic materials and impregnation of wood and other materials.
