Photoactive device for the selective detection of gaseous alcohols

The invention relates to detection sensor industry, particulary to equipment for detection of volatile alcohols. The offered invention - photoactivate device consisting of a photoactive layer of oxide nano particles and surfactans on conductive electrodes and an integrated light source. The photoactive oxide nanoparticles and surfactans layer inside sensor device, changes electrical resistance when exposed to a gaseous medium. The device, discribed in this abstract, intended for detection of alcohols at room temperature.
