This invention relates to the field of organic chemistry, particularly to novel method for synthesis of 5,5-(dialkylaminobenzyl)-1,3-dioxane-4,6-diones. The method is intended for synthesis of compounds from arylidene Meldrum`s acids and aromatic aldehydes involving reduction of arylidene Meldrum`s acid and aromatic aldehyde and formation of a new C-C bond under one-pot conditions and isolation of the product with well-known methods.
