Optical sensor interrogration unit with integrated optical time domain reflectometer functionality

The invention is related to the field of telecommunications, more specific to the optical sensors. Invention targets to develop sensor signal processing device with  integrated optical time-domain reflectometer, to monitor object technical condition. The offered device consists of signal monitoring and analizing unit and optical transmission lines, with integrated optical FBG and net of intensity sensors. Invention distinguished by a signal monitoring and analizing  unit having optical time-domain reflectometer (1), superluminiscent diode SLED (2) and optical circulator (3) and to  monitor and detect central frequencies of fiber Bragg net reflecting FBG sensor signal , the  signal central frequencies detector (13) is used. Invented device offers to provide control of sensor network operation and it is compatible with wavelength division multiplexing-passive optical network systems.
