Invention is related to the telecommunications field, more specific to the sector of spectrum sliced passive optical wavelength division multiplexed access systems (SS-WDM PON). Invention is dispersion compensated spectrum sliced wavelength division multiplexed optical communication system, which can be fully integrated in the existing optical access networks, allowing to increase the transmission distance between service provider and customers and downstream data transmission speed per channel, by using broadband noise-type amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) light source. The system comprises a broadband noise-like ASE light source (1) with smooth optical output signal frequency response, which is created on the structure of a cascaded erbium doped fiber amplifiers (EDFA), an arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) (2) carrying out the spectrum slicing of ASE signal, an electrical signal generator (3), a code shaper (4), a semiconductor optical amplifier (5), an optical signal external electro-absorption modulator (EAM) (6), an optical power coupler (7), a dispersion compensation module (8), a standard single-mode optical fiber (9), an optical signal wavelength splitter (10), a semiconductor PIN photodiode (11), an electrical low-pass filter (12), an electrical high-frequency oscilloscope with the bit error ratio (BER) assessment function (13).
