Fuzzy Logic Controller Support to Passengers’ Comfort for Electric Train Coach Heating System

in this article interest is concentrated on the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system control optimization in passengers’ coach of electric train. Idea is to use fuzzy logic task for measure comfort level of passengers’ and adjust of HVAC control to maximize it. Target is creating an algorithm and coordination mechanism for intelligent HVAC system allowing more flexible control of the system’s compressor, fan and heater operation, and, therefore, improvement of efficiency and energy saves. This paper provides the mathematical model and algorithm for optimal control of the HVAC system.
