Simulation, Synthesis and Assessment of the Operating Modes of Interarea Ties in United Power Systems

– Is proposed the procedure of the EPS regimes simulation according to the data of the SCADA system telemetry and from other assigned parameters. Procedure is based on the use of the developed auxiliary function to the known program set MUSTANG for calculating the steady-state regime of EPS. The basic principle of the developed procedure consists in obtaining of the flow distribution in the network, which satisfies assigned conditions. The procedure proposed adapts in Latvian EPS for increasing the effectiveness in supervisory control.
