The research object of the scientific paper is the company “Saimnieks-Serviss” Ltd., which deals with trading construction materials. In the scientific paper the existing entrepreneurial environment in the construction and trading fields in Latvia is being studied. Moreover, it provides the overall description of “Saimnieks-Serviss” Ltd. performance. The article analyzes and evaluates the financial activity of “Saimnieks-Serviss” Ltd. and gives the calculations of some economic indicators based on the analysis of annual reports. The article offers certain measures for improving the financial activity and further growth of “Saimnieks-Serviss” Ltd.
