Valentīna Koliškina, Inta Volodko

The change in impedance of a double conductor line located above a two-layer conducting medium is calculated in the present paper. The two-layer medium consists of the upper layer with varying electric conductivity and magnetic permeability which are approximated by exponential functions of the vertical coordinate, and the lower conducting half-space with constant electric conductivity and magnetic permeability. Analytical solution of the problem is expressed in terms of improper integral containing modified Bessel functions of complex argument.
