This article was is based on the diploma project defended at the Department of Heat and Power Engineering Systems of Riga Technical University. A massive of information was summarized in this work, which is associated with pollutant emissions in the environment. Pollutant emissions play the main role in modern energy branch all over the world. This article covers the analysis of a real problem that occurred at the Latvian Stock Corporation „Latvenergo”. Solutions for this problem were found and presented in the given paper, which includes constructive equipment development and pollutant emissions reduction methods selection and its integration into the problematic system.
