Application of RMR Method for Noise Prediction on Latvian Railway
Proceedings of the IASTED International Conference on Signal and Image Processing and Applications 2011
Andrejs Baranovskis

This paper is a report on experimental investigation of railway rolling stock noise levels on the Latvian railway and contains comparison of experimentally obtained data with the results of modeling in CadnaA, the software for predictive acoustics, using the RMR – interim railway noise calculation method for EU. Recommendations for CadnaA noise map update are proposed.
