Ecological engineering is a relatively new construction sector, which is based on natural, locally obtained materials, as well as different traditional construction methods by which the building is adapted to the natural processes. Nowadays in the world ecological engeneering is becoming more popular because people are interested in ecomaterials and the world's non-renewable resources are decreasing. One of the most sustainable ecological building materials is hemp lime concrete that combines a lime based binder and woody core of the hemp plant.
