The authors propose the procedure of the electrical mode simulation for the electric power system (EPS) using the telemetry data of the SCADA system or the results of the state estimation. The basic principle of the developed procedure consists of the assigned power flow calculation for the steady-state conditions in the electrical network controlling the assigned parameters. The proposed procedure can be used by transmission system operator for increasing the reliability of EPS functioning. The procedure is illustrated on the equivalent diagram of the Baltic United Power System (UPS).
