Scientists of Institute of Mechanics of RTU participate in European Union Research Project "FILOSE". Purpose of the project is to develop underwater robot, which moves using fish motion principles. Project is realized in collaboration with Italian, Britain and Estonian researchers. Main task of RTU scientists - development of vibration propulsive devices of robotic fish. Proposed methods and devices are checked on novelty and patented (12 patents and 8 patent applications). Short descriptions of main ideas and advantages are given.
