Efficiency of EM Induction Pumps with Permanent Magnets
Magnetohydrodynamics 2011
Imants Bucenieks, Kalvis Kravalis

The efficiency of EM induction pumps with permanent magnets is defined by their main constructive parameters, the optimal values of which, in turn, depend on the specified nominal productivity of the pump (developed pressure head and provided flow rate) and its operating conditions, mainly, the temperature of a liquid metal being pumped. The influence of such main parameters as the magnetic field strength, geometry of the magnetic active system and the pump channel on the efficiency of the pumps is considered. Introduction.
