Internet in Teaching Process of Part-Time Students

This paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of distance learning using the Internet. The paper presents the experience of using electronic resources for part-time teaching of Professional Master students in specialty of Labour protection at Riga Technical University. Analyses based on interviews of students receiving a second education. Almost all respondents gave a positive assessment of e-learning and evaluated weaknesses specified in the questionnaire as unessential. Authors also analyzed the proposals of students to improve methods of teaching using the Internet.
