The object of the research of this article is industry, the research subject is provision of competitiveness of production companies in Latvia. Question about introduction of methodology for evaluation of competitiveness of production companies in Latvia is very relevant among scientists, which means that this theme ir very important and economically notable.Authors analysed former development level of industry sector, investigated the main factors whic influence competitiveness of entreprises, worked out model for provision of competitiveness of produciton companies. the following novelties were put forward: the model of provision of competitiveness of production companies; the integral index for evaluation of the competitiveness of production companies.The main factors, which define the competitiveness of production companies, were defined, the classification of them was carried out and they were included in the model of provision of the competitiveness, on the basis of which the calculation methodology of competitiveness integral index was made.
