The paper presents research related to the detailed design of interaction mechanisms among agents in an emotionally intelligent tutoring system, based on the set of agents for the modeling of learner’s emotions in intelligent tutoring systems developed at the Department of Systems Theory and Design of Riga Technical University in 2008. For the representation of an agent interaction are used sequence diagrams defined in Agent Unified Modeling Language (AUML) methodology and for sent messages among agents are used performatives included in the agent communication language FIPA ACL.
