Proceedings of the International Conference on e-Learning and the Knowledge Society 2011
Sintija Petroviča-Kļaviņa

The paper presents research related to the detailed design of interaction mechanisms among agents in an emotionally intelligent tutoring system, based on the set of agents for the modeling of learner’s emotions in intelligent tutoring systems developed at the Department of Systems Theory and Design of Riga Technical University in Latvia in 2008. Using sequence diagram defined in Agent Unified Modeling Language (AUML) methodology is shown design of interaction mechanisms among agents, considering learner’s facial features. The agent communication language FIPA ACL is used for message representation in diagram.
