The paper is devoted to analysis of the “emotionally intelligent tutoring system” concept and gives the description of such systems based on analysis of the already developed systems and research in emotion modeling. Based on certain systems’ examples are described modeled characteristics of the learner, for example, emotion modeling, in detail listing, what learner's emotions are identified in these tutoring systems. Furthermore are also reflected methods and devices that are used for modeling these characteristics, as well as are mentioned the most recent studies in development of the emotionally intelligent tutoring systems.
