Attracting funding is an important prerequisite for the implementation of socially significant projects. Currently, the domain of culture, including cultural cooperation projects in Europe is mostly funded by state, local governments, while in the U.S. - by funds and private individuals. As a key benefit of the financing of Latvian culture is the increased participation of the State Culture Fund, which provides an opportunity for everyone who works in the field of culture to support creative ideas and projects, while joining the European Union cultural projects is also available in the European Union-funded. Attracting funding for cooperation projects typically take place in two ways - participating in project financing in competitions and attracting private sponsors. To increase the likelihood of attracting funding from the culture of design contests, it is important to analyze and drafting project proposals take into account the basic criteria for evaluation. The most effective way to find international partners, is to use the European cultural networks, or databases. If you have been able to attract co-funding of cultural programs or private sponsors, after the end of the project you must submit a report The authors, analyzing a concrete example, have established that co-operation projects in the cultural sector can be identified through its funding of cultural projects of funding competitions in foreign and local cultural programs. The possibility of raising finance to facilitate project management and planning is based of theoretical knowledge of applications development cooperation projects for submission in competitions
