Circular Routes Optimization for Cities with Intensive Traffic
Proceedings of the 6th International Scientific Conference "Engineering for Rural Development" 2007
Pāvels Patļins

The paper deals with production distribution problems within practicable conditions. Actually, to organize a circular route by optimal way it is necessary to optimize vehicle’s driving time. Paper’s author recommends using microelements method for intensive traffic conditions – to divide the total routing process into microelements. Recommended to divide all roads into small sections. After that we should to define driving time for each section on the particular hours. Author of paper advices to investigate distribution process service quality as well as distribution costs to improve circular route planning for cities and other built-up areas with intensive traffic.
