Abstract The chemicals analyses of original ancient mortars show that for cladding of dolomite and brick walls of Powder Tower hidraulic dolomitic lime was used. Comercial industrially made dolomitic lime with 5-10 % content of cement with binder and ratio 1:3, was chosen for restoration of ancient mortar.
