International Cooperation in Education for Sustainable Development

The United Nations Organization has announced Decade of Education for Sustainable Development from January 2005 to December 2014 which demands a concerted effort to expand environmental education around the world. As example of practical implementation and international cooperation of such an effort author reports about project "Development of Environmental Science Study Content and Study Materials" carried out from 2008 until 2011 in University of Latvia.
