Diacetone-D-Glucose-Derived Spirocyclic Lactones in Stereoselective Synthesis

The research is focused on spirocyclic α,β-unsaturated lactone obtained by modification of C(3) atom of diacetone-α-D-glucose framework. Diastereselectivity of Michael addition reactions on the lactone is discussed.
