Design of Passive Balancing for Electric Kart Battery Pack

Proporties of the most critical electric vehicle element – battery pack, is considered. Lithium-ion cells are selected for electric kart. Different methods of cell balancing are discussed. Proposed cell balancing method for particular battery pack is discussed in detail. Both hardware and software of cell balancer is explained. Future improvements are mentioned in short overview of proposed passive balancing module.
