Hemp concrete is perspective and environmentally friendly composite material. The purpose of this investigation is to explore compressive strength and physical properties such as density, thermal conductivity of composite material by using hemp shives (woody core of hemp stalk; also known as hurd) as local, renewable resource from agriculture and binding agents. In the result of research were produced and elaborated lightweight and self-bearing composites that can be used as a building material for frame walls.
