Considering the dynamics of spacecraft by essentially nonlinear models, in which is possible the existence of rare attractors. The main aim of this paper is to study the dynamics of a relatively simple pendulum system, a model which is close enough to the real models used in spacecraft. The existence of rare regular and chaotic attractors in a pendulum system is shown.
