One of the State Revenue Services strategy functions is to develop professional competence of the staff. The previous process of SRS study was based mostly on lecturing class- rooms. An alternative training is a distance education. Distance education is the process of training without continuous and direct contact between teacher and student. Traditional education involves several organisational and financial problems. It is necessary in future to re-evaluate and to perfect existing methods of education, trying to introduce more progressive and modern methods. It is planned to use new methods and update the alongside with traditional methods with the aim to adapt existing or necessary information for the Web-based training or Internet-based training.
