Phd. student Ilze Gudro from Riga Technical University is caring out research in doctoral work about leather resource use in Latvian economy. Situation in this sector student characterizes very pessimistic: “Latvia now is abandoned from leather processing what was popular in the first period of Latvian independence. At that time sailable skin abroad made huge profit, but nowadays foxes, raccoons, cows, goats, sheep skins is burned or buried in the ground. ”
