The national economy forms a complex system, which consists of several related to each other macroeconomic elements. The relation between these elements also forms the structure of national economy. During long term period there appear structural changes of national economy that are affected by various factors. In Latvian economy the change of economic system was one of these factors; meanwhile nowadays structure of national economy continues to change. The purpose of the research is to examine tendencies of structural changes of Latvia’s national economy over the last twenty years using statistical analysis.
