The article discusses the dynamic management of power system development and preconditions required for realization Smart grid technologies (SGT) and sustainable system development on transmission level. This paper presents research, which is based on the new energy policy of European Union in vision of a smart grid, to develop and deploy more reliable, secure, economical, efficient, safety, and environmentally friendly electric system.
