Prototype set includes a smart child’s jacket and a mother’s purse, which are communicating using a wireless data exchange protocol. Jacket reacts to microclimate changes with the help of integrated electronics and signals the temperature and the relative humidity inside the jacket. Output interface is represented with the help of optical fibre fabric integrated into clothing what is able to emit light and with the help of a LCD screen integrated into child’s mother’s purse.
Several research trends are marked for prototype optimization:
• Accordance to ergonomic requirements
• Smart clothing comfort
• Optimization of physical characteristic of electronic elements
• Flexibility of electronic contacts
• Isolation of electronic contacts
• Amortization
