Beginning of the 13th century is the time of medieval European civilization completion, which is closely linked with the image of Livonia in the literary space. At the same time the Roman Church coordinated the ​​transplantation of the religious idea in the Baltic States, and also in Europe as a whole, there were found out concepts such as "hell", "heaven", "God's miracle", "angels", "demons" and "purgatory", which for many centuries influenced people worldview and mentality.
