The aim of the Doctoral Thesis “Integration Skills Development at a Higher Education Institution in the Context of Latvia” is to study the possibilities of students’ integration skills development at a higher education institution and develop a structural model to realize these possibilities. The following tasks were formulated: to analyse theoretical literature, documents, researches on the problem; to identify and characterize the possibilities and preconditions of students’ integration skills development at a higher education institution; to work out a structural model managing students’ integration skills development and its realization scheme at a higher education institution, to test the structural model in practice; to work out recommendations to promote students’ integration skills development at a higher education institution. The Thesis consists of the Introduction, 2 Parts, Conclusions, Recommendations, References, 9 Appendices; its length is 142 pages (without annexes).
