The results of investigation of fatigue crack propagation mechanism in titanium alloy with brittle nitride inclusions as fracture nucleuses are presented. Investigations have been made on samples with bulk distribution of nitride inclusions made by the method of grain technology. The results are obtained basing on comprehensive assessment using methods of non-destructive testing, fatigue testing, fractography and metallography investigations. Carried out the possibility of crack formation kinetics evaluation in materials with brittle inclusions based on the effect of acoustic emission.
