Scientists from the Goethe University and the University of Hohenheim have made a considerable contribution to research on economic, social and ecological aspects of sustainable investment environment development. In their research they studied the implemented investment projects including projects dealing with business, environment, culture and objects of social significance. In the framework of the research a system of criteria with 850 parameters for investment process monitoring was developed. In the framework of the research a sustainable investment concept was elaborated, which is known as the “Darmstadt Concept” in academic circles.
