In the course of research it has been discovered that the currently topical issue of sustainable investment environment is a relatively new and not sufficiently studied direction of economic theory despite the fact that it is essentially connected with the basic principles of sustainable development and addresses the necessity to introduce significant changes in the world geopolitical, socio-economic and ecological systems. Many authors in their research studied particular elements that shape the investment environment rather than investment environment as a system, the aim of the development of which lies in the creation of the sustainable investment environment. Thus, the academic and socio-political communities have developed a fragmentary view of the characteristic features of the sustainable investment environment and its role in the solution of the global scale development problems both at the level of individual countries and world scale in trying to reduce poverty, high mortality rates, as well as to change aggressive and destructive attitude towards biological resource usage and retention of their reproductive capacity.
