Abstract Electrochemical processes play an important role in the industry. These processes are required in many fields such as energy technologies, metallurgy, synthesis and purification of various substances. These fields have a growing demand for relatively low-cost and long-term stable electrodes. In the current research, under high vacuum conditions titanium oxide TiO2-x ceramics with a relatively low electrical resistance has been proposed as a potential electrode material. In these studies, durability and resistance to electrochemical and chemical corrosion of TiO2-x ceramic electrodes have been investigated.
