            Solar photovoltaic panels are widely used as power sources nowadays. In order to achieve maximum electrical power panel’s position against the Sun must be set according to the Sun’s position in the sky. Different control solutions are known for two axis (pan-tilt) panel positioning.
Relational database based panel position control system for educational purposes is described in the paper. Applications of relational database for electro-technological equipment control still are rare.
