During last years reindustrialization has become very topical research object for scientists and researchers, as well as for government. To evaluate role of reindustrialization in regional development in Latvia, it is necessary to analyse role of industry sector in Latvia during different periods. Establishment of industrial enterpise in region promotes its competitiveness, socio economical development of region will increase - new working places will appear, level of unemployment will decrease, income level of population will increase. More money will be spent for goods and services. It will be positive multiplier effect in the region.
