Abstract A multipole asynchronous generator is considered in which the primary and secondary windings are arranged on the stator, while the rotor is made toothlike and without windings. Analysis of such a generator is performed, and the main equations are obtained, which allow the parameters and performance of the machine to be calculated in the generation mode of operation. The results of experimental investigations are presented for the physical model and comparison with the calculation data is given.
