A Novel Approach to Control Output Voltage Waveform of Static Converter

Quasi-sinusoidal control of a.c. electric drive rotational speed over the frequency range less than supply frequency can be realized by six thyristors of voltage regulator with natural commutation. It is proceeded by use of analysis of dependences of frequency conversion general sinusoidal process and modulated angle of thyristors switching on. In this case if a single-phase of input voltage is available, low modulating frequencies are applied each regulator output phase.
