Main Design Principles of Contactless Pickup with Two Spiral Grooves for Speed Control of Double-Moving Machines

Design principles of contactless pickup with two-channel information about rotational speed and the speed of either stator or rotor axial displacement with respect to one another in electric machines of double-movement are given. Design principles are founded on changable-polar inductor generator with two stator magnetic circuits and cylindrical rotor with two outside spiral grooves with the same number of starts and opposite directions. Construction, regime and operating principle are explained.
