Correlation Properties of Binary Spreading Sequences Generated by Chaotic Logistic Map
2009
Elmārs Beķeris, Anna Litviņenko

In this article correlation properties of NRZ chaotic sequences generated on the basis of logistic map and conventional PN sequences are compared. Mean values, standard deviations and maximum values of cross correlation for binary chaotic sequences containing 15, 31, 63, 127 chips and for Gold, Kasami and M–sequences are compared. Statistical parameters for maximum absolute values of autocorrelation functions for sequences of the same length are presented. It is demonstrated that improvement of correlation properties can be achieved by proper selection of sequences from the initial set.
