Perspectives of the Plywood Products Producer to Apply Cleaner Production Principles

The paper identifies opportunities for a specific plywood production enterprise to implement cleaner production principles by optimization of energy, water, materials and waste streams. A variety of specially adapted offers are given for the implementation of cleaner technologies. By calculation it is shown that the electric boiler replacement with a solar collector system is feasible (payback period - 3 years).
