Adaptation in Latvian of the Standard IEC 60617 “Graphical Symbols for Diagrams”

The international standard IEC 60617:2012 "Graphical Symbols for Diagrams" was adapted in Latvian in 2014 by the Faculty of Power and Electrical Engineering at Riga Technical University under order of Latvenergo AS and Ausgtsprieguma tīkls AS. There are 1907 graphical symbols included in the standard. The presentation book of the adapted standard is complemented by introduction as well as a description of the content, structure and usage of the adapted standard. In the supplement national explanatory comments on graphical symbols and explanations of English abbreviations are included.
